| Welcome To Tropical Glassworks Hawaii |
Tropical Glassworks was started in 2005, in a little "hole in the wall" workshop on the
sunny island of Oahu. Specializing in artistic stained glass lamps and window panels
that express the beauty of Hawaii and it's unique culture, all of my art pieces are
designed and handcrafted with the utmost care. No two are exactly alike. Check back
often, as I have been feeling my creativity flowing and have many new designs in
store for 2010.

| Ku Tiki: Hawaiian God of war stained glass window Ancient Hawaiian life revolved around religion and Gods. Legend has it that Na Wahine, the hawaiian female diety, and Kane, the male force of creation, mated and produced three sons, one of whom was Ku (kukailikimoku). Although often touted as the God of war, Ku also reigned over crops and woodlands, and was worshipped by crafters, in various forms. He was representative of men or the masculine force. Ku is considered one of the four main Gods and , as such, he required his own temple and sacrifices. |
